Workfrom Showcases Coffee Shops and Other Alternative Places to Work
If you can work remotely, sometimes the best place to work is not your home , but rather an alternative workplace where other digital nomads like you congregate. Workfrom strives to create the largest and most complete database of coffee shops, cafes, bars and coworking spaces where you can get your work done.
The site provides detailed listings of places with their opening hours, Wi-Fi speed, seating, and professional tips (for example, sit in the back where there are more outlets, or try blueberry muffins).
Communities such as Amsterdam, Austin, Los Angeles, Maribor, New York, Omaha, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC are currently being explored in detail. However, there are other cities around the world with recommendations from the Workfrom community: and you can add your own recommendations and tips.
I haven’t seen a resource so far that lists all the alternate workspaces available, but perhaps this resource will grow to do so and help you play Workstation Popcorn wherever you are.
