IFTTT Launches Apps for Camera, Notes and Buttons to Quickly Launch Recipes

Android / iOS: Today IFTTT announced a collection of three new apps that will let you use your already awesome IFTTT recipes even faster .

You can download three new applications, each with a different purpose. Do Camera is a camera that lets you create buttons specifically for quickly launching photo-related recipes. This way, you can automatically add images to your calendar, post them to Twitter, or save them to Evernote. Anything you can do with an IFTTT recipe can be turned into a button in this camera app. Do Note performs a similar task with notes.

The third application, Do Button , is perhaps the simplest of the three. This app does nothing but run recipes. You don’t need to take pictures or issue commands. Just press a button and the recipe will start. This can be useful for things like turning connected lights on and off, sending “I’m on my way” texts to a specific person, or – and this is a real recipe – calling yourself to get out of an awkward situation.
