Even the best chefs burn several dishes. Hoods or vents remove odors from the kitchen. Some houses or apartments do not have such household appliances. Install a window fan to provide airflow in the kitchen.

The Kitchen asked its readers for tips on how to deal with a kitchen that has no exhaust ventilation. They had many suggestions, but the best was to install a window fan – assuming you have a window, of course. Place a fan on a cooker hood and the fan will send odors out. As the saying goes, it won’t help with fat, but it will help with odors.
