What’s the Best Budget Computer Monitor?

Buying monitors can be a daunting task. If you have money to spend, you can do your best, but if you’re on a tight budget, you may have to ditch some bells and whistles to focus on what’s important – image quality and screen size. This week we want to know which monitors you think offer the best price – under $ 400, we’d say.

It’s been a while since we’ve reviewed the best monitors overall (and we’re going to update this post shortly with new model numbers to reflect your favorite picks – we doubt the top five will really change if we re-run this poll) but many of these panels are expensive. This week, let’s talk about budget displays (under $ 400, cheaper if possible!) That still offer large screen sizes and features that matter to you, without spending too much money. Previously, we have already talked about some of our favorites , but we will not talk about your nominations below!

Let’s hear your voice in the discussions below! To cast your vote, follow these rules:

  1. Follow this format for your voting, including bold . If you don’t, it won’t count:

PHOTO OR SCREENSHOT OF BEST BUDGET MONITOR

    Vote: [BEST BUDGET MONITOR]

Why: Explain why you think this is the best monitor? Maybe it’s huge and offers many screen sizes for its money. Maybe it does a great job of color duplication, or it has super-fast response times. What makes it something that you recommend to others, and why? Make your case! Try to limit it to one paragraph, maybe two, and remember that it shouldn’t exceed $ 400.

Do not duplicate nominations! Instead, if someone assigned your choice, tag it (recommend) to reinforce it and respond with your story instead.

Please do not leave direct comments on this post. They will simply be pushed. Save your stories for others!

If you’re not sure what we mean, just check out our contributors’ nominations below. We’ll give you a head start, and they all have to be in the right format so you can just follow our lead.
