Avoid These Three Airports If You Are Doing International Traffic

You have so many things to think about when it comes to making sure your next flight goes well – from what rights you have to how comfortable you are . Before buying a ticket, you should also think about how your airport connection will be, especially when it comes to international travel.

Brett Snyder of Conde Nast Traveler singles out three US airports with the worst international flights and what to look out for when considering an airport as a stopover. Airports:

  1. O’Hare International Airport in Chicago
  2. John F. Kennedy Airport in New York
  3. LAX in Los Angeles

All of these airports have one thing in common: they have multiple terminals, most of which are not connected for security purposes. This means you often have to go through customs and security to get from one terminal to another, which takes time and energy. Before booking your next international flight, take a look at the connecting airport map to see if you are experiencing the same problem. If you cannot avoid this, be sure to leave enough time between flights to get to another terminal and clear customs and security.
