Introducing Skillet: Lifehacker’s Food & Cooking Blog

Everyone should eat, so you can do it well. Today we’re launching a new Lifehacker section called Skillet, focusing on Kitchen Skills, Nutrition Science, and Basic Culinary Knowledge.

Our goal with Skillet is to create a new type of food blog. Rather than just sharing recipes and “cooking porn” (as much as we love these things), our goal is to make you better cook with knowledge , skill, and helpful time savers . We’ll still share some basic recipes from time to time, but Skillet should be everything you’d expect from Lifehacker: practical.

Skillet will be contributing Suzanne Chen , a culinary veteran with sites such as Chow and Popsugar. As with our other subblogs, most of this content will be posted on the Lifehacker homepage, but not all, so if you want to eat whatever you can, be sure to add skillet.lifehacker.com to your bookmark bar, subscribe to RSS -channel or subscribe to Skillet in Twitter .
