“Success Controls How You Spend Your Time.”
Many of us are passionate about the idea that success means making more money, but success can be defined in many different ways. Reimagining your idea of success can help you set better goals and see that we all really just want to be the masters of our time.
Peter Cohen, a corporate strategy expert and educator , suggests that chasing money can lead people to believe that there is no other path to success. But why do you need money? You probably need money to do whatever you want. You want to be able to spend your time in a way that suits you. In this case, for many of us, Cohen redefines success:
Success is about controlling how you spend your time … If you achieve this by doing what you want and it makes you happy, then I consider you successful.
The bottom line is that we want security while doing what we love. Kohan does not suggest that you impose poverty on yourself, you just overestimate what you are striving for. If you need money, that’s fine, but consider why you really want money. Once you can figure it out, you can find a better way beyond your daily chores. Read the link below to find out more.
