Turn a Mechanical Pencil Into a Precision Solder Dispenser
Soldering is an easy skill , but it can also get messed up easily when you work with really small items. To give yourself a little more control, you can turn a mechanical pencil into a simple precision dispenser.
Instructables user MoTinkerGNome demonstrates it’s as easy as it sounds in his tutorial. Take a 0.5mm solder and a 0.5mm mechanical pencil and you’re almost done. Remove the eraser, pour out all the graphite from the pencil, and gently thread the solder into the pencil. Make a few clicks and the pencil will begin to push the solder through the end. This gives you complete control and helps prevent kinks and bends in the solder line. Check out the full guide at the link below.
