iOS: Hopper is a great site to help you plan ahead for your balloon deals , but the new iOS app takes you a step further by notifying you of price drops and telling you when to buy.
The app has three main features to help you save on plane tickets. The first is a price prediction, which uses past prices and trends for comparable trips to tell you whether to buy now or wait. The app also tracks price drops or projected price increases and notifies you so you can decide whether to buy as soon as possible or delay. If you’re a visual person, Hopper’s app also has a neat color-coded calendar so you can see at a glance which dates are best to travel.
In the app, you can also find tips on how to change your travel plans, such as dates or airport, to save money. Hopper can even show you how much these settings can save you.
