Hang Small Tools Under the Hard Drive Magnet Shelf
Here’s an easy way to free up more desktop space if you have multiple hard drive magnets.
Just glue some of these magnets (taken from old mechanical hard drives, not SSDs) to the underside of the shelf, as Instructables user udubinsky did, and your tools can hang where you can reach, but not on your work surface.
The magnets on the hard drive are quite strong, so a lot of different tools must fit in them. Just make sure you stick them very securely. You can also wall-mount them (like in this DIY knife block ).
