The “perfect” GTD Table

RestartGTD’s Bill Mead obviously thinks a lot about GTD (or Getting Things Done ), so his workspace has been tweaked and revamped over the years to provide the most productive workflow. This is the final iteration.

It may not seem like much, but what he sells in design is offset by functionality.

The power adapter is mounted and hidden on the side, the IKEA cable organizer, mounted under the table, keeps tools and accessories close at hand but out of sight, and the semi-circular cutout on the conference table gives access to most of the table surface (which Mead writes with crayons and cleans with using Windex). We’ve already noted Mead’s ” mount everything behind the monitor” strategy and suggested some of our own hidden storage ideas , but learning about the rest of the setup is great too.

If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool. Make sure all photos you add are at least 640×360 in size. Maintaining their 16: 9 aspect ratio also helps! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you might be the next ambassador for your workspace.
