Chat Heads for Mac Brings Facebook Messenger to Your Desktop
Mac: Chat chapters may not be your favorite addition to smartphones, but they save you the hassle of switching between tabs in your computer’s web browser. Chat Heads for Mac is free and available.
Chat heads do not require any special configuration. Just give it Facebook permissions and a “+” icon will appear on the left side of your desktop. Click it to access your friends and open or start a conversation. Just click on the app you were using to return to it and minimize the conversation, and the bubbles will return to the side, just like on your phone.
The free version comes with basic chat functionality. You can start a conversation with your friends and participate in it. If you upgrade to the premium version, which is currently free, you get custom themes, emojis, action center support, history and unread messages, input indicators, and a menu bar icon.
