Google Translate Provides Real-Time Text Translation to Your Phone
iOS / Android: Last year Google bought Word Lens, an amazing real-time character translation app, and made it free for everyone . The company has now gone further and added this feature to Google Translate.
As you can see in the GIF above, this feature works the same as it does in the Word Lens app. Just press the camera button, point the camera at the sign you want to translate, and the translated words will appear in their place. This new update also simplifies the voice translation feature. All you need to do is tap the microphone once, and from that moment on, Google Translate will automatically detect which (supported) language you speak, translate your message into another and speak it out loud. All that remains is toturn it into a fish and put it in your ear .
