Look for Apartments Early in the Week to Get the Best Deals
Apartment hunting is carried out on a competitive basis. Depending on your strategy, you could be stuck in a shabby, overpriced studio or chill out in a spacious two-bedroom loft for the same price. If you are looking for a loft, look for Monday or Tuesday.
Internet marketplace Zumper used its data to calculate when there were most apartment options. It turns out that 32% of ads are published on Mondays and 21% on Tuesdays. The later in the week, the fewer ads and better options sold out quickly. Give yourself the edge by searching on the best days when the most options are available. On those days, the listings are as fresh as possible (so you get the first bids on new ads) and you are more likely to find the best deals.
