A Quick Cube of Watermelon With This Bowl Slicing Method
The watermelons are huge and not easy to cut. Use this bowl method to cut and store uniform sized cubes in minutes.
It can take some practice to figure this out, but this is one of the quickest methods we’ve seen. Cut the watermelon in half, then make five more cuts around the peeled side of one half, but be careful not to join the slices or break the watermelon apart. Then cut into deep squares on the side of the pulp and transfer the cubes to a bag, bowl, or dish. In contrast, this method (which we love too) involves cutting the outside of the rind and then cutting the middle into cubes. Pick the one that works best for you and enjoy.
